ROVIO Launched Angry Birds for Facebook

ROVIO firstly launched Angry Birds for Apple iPhone’s in December 2009 but in little time this game gained raved reviews and unprecedented popularity and it became the most downloaded application on Apple iOS in 2010. After such success, ROVIO started to launch Angry Birds for other platforms like Android phones, Windows and Google Chrome. Now for the first time, Angry Bird has been officially launched for your all time favourite Social Networking website, Facebook.
Alongwith older episodes like Poached Eggs (63 levels) and Mighty Hoax (42 levels) ROVIO has introduced a new episode titled “Surf and Turf” (15 levels). Lots of new features have been added in Angry Bird for Facebook like Social and Competitive elements, Facebook-exclusive levels, Brand New Power-Ups. There are four different types of Power-Ups
Super Seeds – Increase the size of the bird that is currently in the slingshot
King Sling – Increases the initial launch speed of all your birds.
Sling Scope – Allows you to see a large part of a bird’s trajectory before launch
Birdquake – Shakes the ground in any level
To play Angry Bird on Facebook you first have to grant permissions and Angry Bird application will run like all other Facebook application. You can also share your score and activities with your friends. You must have flash Player 11 or later version installed to play Angry Bird on Facebook.
