You can use colourful text in facebook chat.Its a very simple trick .Now facebook allows you to post profile picture of any person on facebook in your chat by using its profile id or username between [[ and ]].Example [[profile id]]  then paste this in your chat.It will chow profile picture of the user.Similarly you can post colourful text in fb chat box.
